Adequate UVB?

So I am currently using an Exo Terra Solar Glo Mercury Vapor bulb for my 2 baby bearded dragons. I just wanted to make sure that it is providing enough uvb for my dragons. I've seen certain MVBs recommended, and I usually don't see my specific one, so it has me wondering if it provides a good enough amount of uvb. They seem to enjoy it, but I don't know anywhere close to as much as a lot of the people here. Btw it's 125 watt. If it isn't enough, what should I get? Thanks for any input you have!

Based on test results for that bulb, it puts out optimal UVB between about 8-14'' above the basking area, but decays rapidly. Without using a Solarmeter, it's tough to say exactly what the output of your specific bulb is but I'd keep it within that range.

Are you keeping two dragons in the same tank or are they each set up with a tank and a SolarGlo? I advise keeping them in their own spaces because they may become aggressive and can compete for resources, especially a single basking spot. Otherwise I would use a T5 tube for UVB lighting to project a wider beam so they each have enough space to bask fully. Your MVB may provide a wide enough beam for one but not for both to bask under.

Thano you for your response! I have them both in a single tank. I will separate them as soon as I can. I haven't seen any signs of aggression at all yet but I will still keep a very watchful eye on them.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
