Acurite Digital Thermometer

Hello all!
I have been reading that a lot of you use the Acurite digital thermometer to read the temps in your enclosure and that they can be purchased at Wal-mart. I went to my local store and they didn't have it. I also went on the walmart website, and I can't seem to find an acurite digital thermometer when I search for it. Does anyone know somewhere else I can purchase this thermometer? I've tried just doing a basic search for it, but I get a lot of results and I'm not sure which one is the best (or which one you are all using). Any advice would be great, thanks.

I have the Acurite digital thermometer from walmart and it is good, but I just bought a non contact IR thermometer from Harbor Freight for $9.99. It gives you instant readings vs having to place the probe down for 45 minutes. The Acurite and the non contact thermometer measured the temps within 0.1 degrees of each other. Non Contact IR thermometers are available a lot of places online for around $25 if you don't have a harbor freight nearby. The non contact thermometers won't measure humidity like the Acurite will though. The hygrometer function isn't the most accurite though - I compared it with a calibrated cigar hygrometer and a digital cigar hygrometer and the Acurite was off by about 4-5%.

The first several times I went looking for this thermometer in Walmart, I couldn't find it. I had to ask and, in our local store, I found them with the ceiling fans. I think every walmart places things in a different place.

I just saw the exact Acurite thermometer at Lowe's for $12.97. Maybe you willl have better luck there. It was on an endcap in the seasonal/garden area.
