Hi, recently, maybe now over a week or so my bearded dragon begun to get more active. He glass surfs, in and out of the tank. Wants to run around and try to climb up walls. We don't know his exact age, the guy who I rehomed him from said he bought him as a baby in June, and I bought him in December from the previous owner.
He's 15 inches, and 253 g as of now. 98 g when I got him.
Temps are about 94-110 basking spot.
75-80's cool spot.
uvb light is the reptisun 10.0 recommended on here- no wire screen covering it.
40 gal tank.
Newspaper substrate.
No water bowl in tank.
The weather has recently got a bit cold so he is a bit colder at night. During the winter I used a CHE.
He won't really eat crickets, his previous owner pretty much fed him nothing but kale and mealies.
He now eats BSFL, rephashy grub pie, kale, chard, and dandelion greens, and superworms. He has a BM every morning, unless he ate next to nothing the previous day. Drinks water every 2-3 days pretty much and quite a decent amount each time. He's eating significantly less and will really only readily take superworms, which I don't give him much of. He doesn't try to dig or anything, just paces back and forth with his nose on the glass/wall and tries to climb up it. He does this a lot!
I'm really worried about the decreased appetite combined with the increased activity. Does anyone have any idea what this could be caused by?
