Acting odd

My Beardie had been acting very weird since I got his new tank for him I got him a much bigger 55 gal tank and he has been real moody....he keeps glass surfing and bouncing around and when I tried to take him out to hold him he was ok the first time but then he bit me....is it normal for them to act like this with a new tank?

A new tank can set off relocation stress, the same as the day you bring a new dragon home.
Any major change in their living environment can cause relocation stress.

As long as you have the tank set up properly, you should just wait it out. He should go back to normal as long as temperatures are the same and proper uvb.
