Accidentally ate paper towel...

On Monday evening I was feeding Phoenix and she went for a cricket and ate a piece of paper towel about the size of a nickel with it. She likes to shred her paper towels by digging. I try to take out all the shredded pieces before I feed her but I guess I missed one this time and I couldn't get to it before she ate it. She last pooped in the bath Monday afternoon before the feeding where she ate the paper towel. How much should I be worrying about this?

They can usually pass paper towels after a while. Try to provide warm baths to keep things moving. You can also drop a little olive oil on her nose and try to get her to lick it off. If that doesn't help, you could try some baby food prunes in a feeding syringe. I would replace the paper towel substrate with something that doesn't tear apart like non adhesive shelf liner or some ceramic tile.
