ok so this may be a dumb question but i have no idea. when breeders say their dragons are for example: red hypo's, or red translucent, or red hypo trans, what exactly does hypo and trans and hypo trans mean in a dragons traits? is it the color or what i have no idea haha. thanks!

well simplest first, red is the color trait that the parents passed on to the offspring

Hypo is short for Hypomelanistic meaning lack/lowered expression of darker pigments (such as brown and black). A hypo has 20 clear nails and typically sits on the pastel side of the color range.

Trans is short for translucent. The dermus (skin) on the dragon is see through. It is especially apparent as babies. Translucent dragons typically (not always) have solid black eyes.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
