Ok,

I bought little beardie a little less than week ago - and after looking
at other baby's, i've noticed mine might my exrtemely thin :(

He/She is 7 weeks old. Is this normal?

He's cute, but looks anorexic in comparison to others:

Maynard was a skinny guy too. What are you feeding him? Have you had fecals looked at to check for parasites? I'm not an expert, but hopefully someone who is will be on soon. What is your tank set up (lights, temps, substrate)? That info will be helpful for whoever pops on :)

I would recommend repti worms or dubia nymphs to help him grow, that is what Maynard used for a staple =]

definitely keep a good eye on him, but they often wont eat until they get used to their environment, and mine wudn't eat until the uvb was turned on. they can go for ten days with no food or water so he'll probly b ok but im no vet so maybe get a fecal check for parasites

Hello,

He is very cute & appears healthy right now. I would give him some time & he will get used to his new home.
How is his eating?
What type of lighting are you using right now?

Awww!! He / she is adorable,,and doesn't look to skinny to me. Mine was about that size when I got her. It can take awhile for them to settle down and eat, its normal. Make sure you only give her food that is no bigger than the space between her eyes or else she can get impacted. Can you go over your setup with us, it will help so that you will know everything is perfect for your baby so she will grow big and healthy. Don't forget to fix her a salad of greens and some veggies like squash, green beans, things like that. Beautifuldragons.com has a wonderful list of foods. What substrate are you using, and please don't say sand! What are you going to name your little one?

My beardie is almost exactly the same as yours, except yours has a fatter tummy. They almost look like they might break! And mine hasn't eaten alot either...They're probably right it could be the fact that its a new environment so they're not really used to it. I'll show you what he looks like

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
