I swear, it’s always one thing after another with this little bugger. At this rate you guys should have a forum dedicated to poop posts. Here’s some background info:

I was on vacation for three days and my pet sitter put a crap ton of squash on his salad (mix of acorn and spaghetti), like… it was a mountain of squash, I’m not joking.

He ate mainly salad as my pet sitter for the last day (we had a separate pet sitter for the first two days) is pretty uncomfortable with live bugs. We got home later than expected.

He ended up eating a few Phoenix worms before going back to bed so all he ate that day was an unreasonable amount of salad hence the over hydrated stool.

What I want to know is why it’s so… mucusy? It was pretty nasty and unformed. Did the squash do it? He ate 80-90% of his salad that day so he ate a lot of squash!

Yea the squash did it. Don’t feed any more squash or anything on top of his salad just give him the greens and it will clear up. Next time show your pet sitter how to do it or what it should look like it. Your guy is ok just very over hydrated

If you woke him up and he ate but went back to sleep without basking, that may have contributed to it also. They need an hour or so of basking after eating.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
