Well, it all started about two weeks ago as I was setting here typing and reading. I set here and watch Peaches go about her business in her viv. Well I started noticing she was looking up at the back wall and cocking her head like she was thinking, "I sure wish my slave would figure out a way for me to get up there. I promise I wouldn't freak out much if he did!". Well upon realizing what she was doing, I set out on a quest for just such an item and "low and, behold" I found it. The simplest solution to her request, a piece of old barn wood, nicely weathered, clean and hanging on one of the old barns that we are about to tear down this summer. A little saw work and a couple of screws later, she has a new shelf to be lazy on, lol!
I put it in while my grand daughter held her and, when I put her back in the viv, she was looking around, knowing something was different but she couldn't put her claw on it. After setting there looking at it like a monkey trying to solve a math problem for a day, I came home to find her in her new lounging spot. I think she likes it!
