So I've had a bearded dragon for about a month and a week now. Her name is Ozzy and she's been fantastic. She became fond of me almost immediately, she likes to come and sit on my lap, and she's given no issues when it comes to eating, pooping, sleeping or bathing!
Things have been shaken up though this week as my girlfriend bought me another little bearded dragon. He's a problematic little one! His name is Biffy and well, he's got some issues.
The little dude is about 7 months old, and seriously under-sized. He's only 3 inches long from head to tail. Though he is missing half his tail! but that still only puts him at about 4 1/2 inches at 7 months old.
Also Biffy isn't really eating, I think this may be due to relocation stress, though it wasn't a problem I had with Ozzy.
He also spends a lot of his time with a completely black belly, and hiding a way trying to sleep.
(A little history) Biffy was actually my first dragon but he got sick the same day I got him, he was unable to move or put his head down. So I took him to a woman who nurses beardies back to health. Kym (My girlfriend) went out and got Biffy back when she heard he had recovered.
So yeah.. a little advice on this little beardie situation.
As for the rant section.. I'm too lazy to go into detail but in short... spent 56.99 euro on an Exo-Terra light fitting for my reptisun 10.0 UVB. The thing broke after 30 mins. Not impressed!
So yeah, advice? :) Thank you!

It very well could be relocation stress. It's more normal for beardies to get stressed out right after a move than not. Are the two beardies in the same viv? If so, you'll want to separate as soon as you can, as beardies are solitary animals and may attack or try to eat another beardie, even if it's a male/female combination.

I don't have them in the same vivarium, but what I have had to do due to my lack of a second UVB till today is switch them around between vivariums.
I have one 20 gallon and one 40 gallon. The twenty gallon has a reptisun, whereas the 40 gallon wasn't entirely finished when I was surprised with the new beardie.
So I've been giving the dragons one day with UVB and one day without to try and keep them both healthy. I think that might have added to Biffy's stress levels? He seems so scared of me whenever I go near him, I really hope he can get over this...
I finally got a second reptisun tonight, unfortunately it's fitting was faulty... but at least they'll both have the proper lighting by tomorrow and there'll be no more moving them around.

just move the UV around instead of the beardies :)
we've done that, since charizards light finally started showing signs of bothering him. turned it off and switch uvs around for everyone and take them outside when we can

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
