A new beardie

I am a new owner, well tomorrow I pick up my beardie and I was wondering how long it takes for them to settle in and is there any thing I can do to help make the transition easier for the dragon. The beardie is coming with a 55 gallon terrarium.

I am a new owner, well tomorrow I pick up my beardie and I was wondering how long it takes for them to settle in and is there any thing I can do to help make the transition easier for the dragon. The beardie is coming with a 55 gallon terrarium.

Each beardie is different when coming into a new home, some can take a few days and some can take up to a month to settle in. Try not to hold it and only put your hand in the cage when offering food or to clean up its poop. If it doesn't eat, that's okay it's most likely going to be relocation stress, on't force your beardie to eat.
