i got a new beardie a little while back and i placed her on my desk so i can hold her watch her and generaly enjoy her company. she was a very calm and docile bd when she got here now shes becoming somewhat skittish more and more could it possibly be that theres usally music playing fairly loud next to her cage? could listening to loud music hurt them at all?

Since you are dealing with a glass enclosure, yes. Sound tends to bounce back and forth in glass and not in wood, at least not as much. Ever tap a fish tank at a store and someone would say don't do that ? It's because of that.

Yes you can try to insulate with styro, but inside and out on the closest side to that speaker.
If that doesn't work, you will need to move the viv away.

Easier said than done my friend. I too am a fan of loud music. Though, I hate opeth because of they way they acted at a festival down here :angry5: :angry5: :angry5:

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
