a little attiude/thunder storms

My beardie has always been very calm, friendly, never bit anyone. Lately it has been thundering near our house and everytime he either knocks things over in his tank or the other day I had him on his leash and he bolted across the street. Next thing he's got his beard out, mouth open and swatting at me while I pick him up. I gave him a superworm hoped he had calmed down. Well today I brought him outside he was relaxing on my shoulder for a while then I let him down to explore a bit. Well we eventually had to go inside and he was just like, RAWR NO. He ran from my grasp , turned around and flared out at me again. He has been shedding , could this just be a phase?

when i first started taking Dargon outside he developed a real attitude problem.
he puffed and charged at me when he thought i was taking him inside. he would run from me. and he only ever wanted to be outside.

eventually he calmed down, especially when he realized i was the one who allowed him to go outside, and being 'bad' meant he stayed in his cage.

they think they are tough guys when they get outside.

Today he was fine when I took him along for a car ride. I know he's spoiled as can be but I hope grabbing him immediately will give him the hint on "who's boss".
