A gift from Midna, lol

I knew Midna was going into another shed again. So when I got home from work I was expecting her to have a "hood" on her head. But instead I seen her with her freshly shedded head. And on the floor of her viv was this. Very cool.

I labeled it so it would be easy to see where its from. I like how you can see where her spikes are too

nice! falkor hasn't ever had a head shed that complete in one shot. however, just yesterday, i got home and she had a body shed on the ground. it was almost the whole torso with arm holes and everything - looked like a shirt or a jacket or something. i wish i had taken a picture now.

That's a beautiful piece, telling it's story very well. One of my ideas for classroom observations of a beardie includes saved pieces of skin and the kids would try to identify where it had been on the beardie. That piece would be wonderful for that type of display, because there is so much they could identify. :study: Tweezie just shed her head earlier today, but it was almost entirely single scales, like she shook them all off in a shower of scales. Single scales are much harder to place! :roll:

Yep, that's where I got her name from. I love all of the Legend of Zelda games

I was shocked that it came off in that big of a piece. I was excited. I showed my hubby and he just looked at it and wasn't that amused, lol.
