A few questions.

I saw some ceramic heat emitters for sale at Petsmart today, the box said they emitted infrared... :? I though CHEs didn't emit anything. Not that I would have bought one there though, they were like twice the price as online. Would a 60 watt one be ok for a 20 gallon? Also, what happens if the temperature drops below 65? It dropped down to 66 last night, how worried should I be until I can get one? Last question, how much on average does it cost to build one crossfire viv?

The ceramic infrared heaters emit a small dose of infrared, which is not visible to you or your reptile. Are you keeping your beardie in a 20 gallon? And if so, how old is s/he? But a 60w will be more than enough power for a 20 gallon tank, still remember to regulate a cold and a basking side. Although, with a 20 gallon tank this might be hard to achieve--I would not know personally though. As far as the enclosure goes, I am unsure of price. Thanks. Yeah, he's in a 20 gal. Not sure of his exact age, I think he's around 6 months. I think he was only a few days old when I got him. I just started on his new viv, should be done in a week or two. Will I probably have to buy a higher wattage CHE when his viv's done?

I would say most likely if your tank is going to be a 55+ gallon breeder/crossfire style. 6 months? He must be a pretty big dragon in a small enclosure, how big is he? I would get that tank ready ASAP if he appears stressed.

I'm not sure exactly how long he is, haven't measured him yer this week. He's a pinch longer than my fore-arm. I don't think he's stressed though, he gets quite a bit of out-of-tank time each day.
