A few questions *PLEASE COMMENT*

Hi have 2 things to ask you guys,
1. What age do beardies have to be to switch them from mainly live food to mainly veg ?
2. My Beardies heat bulb blown, lucky i have a spare one but it only gets the basking spot temps to 94F, the pet shop opens in two days, will this be ok for now ?

In answer to your questions, beardies usually switch over to mostly greens and veggies when they are 1-1.5 years of age. My Rexy slowed down early and started refusing live feeders at about 8 months, he continued to eat salad and would eat live feeders a couple times a week. His weight is really good, so I didn't worry about it. But yeah, if your beardy has not switched himself over by 1.5 years then I would start offering feeders 2-3 times a week at that point.

In regards to your bulb, save the money on a heat bulb and just use a high wattage household bulb instead. If you still would rather use an actual heat bulb from the petstore, it shouldn't hurt your beardy that his temps are lower for a couple days. Using a household bulb really saves a lot of money though.
