A Couple of Lighting Questions

So I'm getting a beardie soon, but I'm still not entirely sure about the lighting yet. It's really just 2 questions that I need answers to.

1. Is color temperature absolutely important? I've been shopping around, but I've noticed that I can only find either something with the right color temperature, or the right wattage. Never both of them. This is mostly a problem because I'd really rather have only 1 non-UVB light fixture, as adding anymore would require me to add more extension cords.

2. I've been meaning to hang the UVB light fixture in my tank, but the one I found recommended on the Newbie guide would take too long to arrive (since I have the beardie on hold from the breeder and I would really prefer not to keep them waiting any longer than they have). Instead, I've found one on Amazon which should be able to arrive fast enough, but now I'm wondering, is it possible to mount the Sunblaster fixture in the tank using the 3M hooks? It really seems like a great option, but I'd hate to get it and find out that it won't work with my plan, causing me to have to change them fast.

Hi, good job on getting everything ready before you get your baby!

For the basking light, you need a bright white light. A red one may be used with a white bulb if the white on its own doesn't reach the correct temps, but should not be used on its own, and not in the night as it disrupt their sleeping patterns.
