Glad to hear this story has a happy ending! LOL

I am sure most of us have had close calls. Just last night I had Louie outback in the screend in porch. We were all out their visiting with friends.. I told my hubby to watch LouLou since I had to go inside. Well, he came in and forgot she was out there!

Luckily my sister in law brought her in. She could have easily gotten out and been long gone. Whew.....

Yes that was a close call. Once when we lived in my old house we didn`t have a lid for him and our cat got into the room he stays in. But she didn`t eat him

My mom has our first dragon, Drake. He really is a dog trapped in a dragons body. For example if she takes him outside he will sit on her lap, when she says "go potty" he will get off, do his business and come back. Then when she tells him he can go play he will run around the yard (its screened in). When hes ready to come in he will scratch on the door. Like I said, hes like a dog. Her other one, Joey (RIP) got out once and was gone for a whole month. One of the neighbors found him in her garden just looking around, freaked out and called the cops lol. But he was alive and well. Ended up passing away of old age. :(

Lucky you. My hubby is no longer allowed to open Toki's cage because he left it open twice in one week. I completely freaked out because I came home and he had the back door open and the cage door was too. Fortunately Toki didn't get out, she was sleeping under her substrate. It took me one frantic minute to dig her up and realize she was ok.

I don't exactly have a fenced in yard but I have taken my Herc out for some sun(when we actually have some) one day he actually jumped off my knee and took off towards the neighbors yard. I never realised how fast he was until then, lol. I ended up watching him hide in a bush and I came over and told him he was a brat. xD Just glad he didn't go anywhere where I couldn't get em.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
