My beardie, Rey, is approaching his first birthday. He's gotten so big, that I felt it was finally time to give him and Louie (my pug) some time together and maybe make friends. I held Rey in my hands as I let Louie check him out. Whenever Louie sniffs, he sprays from his nose (we call this "love mist"...not snot lol). Well, Rey didn't appreciate being love misted, and he puffed immediately and opened his mouth. I have never seen Louie run so fast in his life!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Then last night, the night after they first met, I let the two of them hang out on my bed. Louie made sure to keep some distance, but was infatuated with following Rey EVERYWHERE!!! Rey was enjoying his shadow against the wall, and then slid off the bed. He managed to save himself by grabbing on to the side of the mattress, but Louie was so worried! He ran to me and hit my leg, and ran to where Rey had fallen! It seemed that he was insanely worried until I finally put Rey back on the bed. Louie rushed over to Rey and sniffed him our to make sure all was well, and Rey licked his nose! They are new best friends!!!!
