I hope he is doing better today. So, he sneaks in eating his veggies without you around? That is funny, they will do that though.
At least he is alert right now, that is a great sign! The new light should really help him out a lot.
It sounds like he has some great colors to him also right now so it seems he is happy in his new home!

Hi there, congrats on your new girl! Oh wow! That stinks about the bump! It is so upsetting, Everything everyone said in reply to my post, I have done and I can see a difference in Chris' color and spunk already. I think it will take some time for the bump to go down because, the theory I have in my mind is, he probably has to grow longer for it to straighten out. We'll see, but frankly, as long as he is healthy and comfortable and seems happy, then I am happy I will keep you posted and post more pics next wee pics. Do you have any pics of your girl? What is her name? If you want advice, this is the most understanding, kind, supportive, responsive group of people! you will get help here and people who really care and don't lecture or blame. I was scared to admit what had happened to Chris fearing that I would be ridiculed even though I tried to do everything right (I always say, "Sometimes you don't know what you don't know!)... and not only was I not ridiculed, i felt very supported and understood by the people on this site.
