my local reptile place sells adult dubia for 25cents a piece. & you can pick the male to female ratio, depending on what you need for your colony.i was just wondering if this is a good deal or no?
i got 3 dozen (24 f, & 12m) for $9.
but im going back for more if this is a good price

I think its a great deal since female dubias cost about $1 each. You should go back and get more females.

Fairview is only 10 minutes from my house! Sadly my girl refuses anything but supers now... but that's still a good deal.

You may try http://charleston.craigslist.org/pet/2244646276.html where you can get a 250 bug starter colony for $35 or 500 for $50 . There are bugs of all ages in that colony including plenty of adults. The shipping is $15-$20. for most areas.
