Faranth is an eight month old, central bearded dragon. She has begun displaying signs of brumation (not eating much, daytime sleeping in her hide basking, sleeping in her cool side hide, yesterday she stayed all day I'm her hide).

basking: 109°f
warm side: 90°f
cool side: 82°f
Forty gallon breeder
UVB: ReptiSun 10.0, confirmed to have UVB via a Solar Meter

calcium and vitamin supplementation.
super worms and dubia
Collard greens
every other daily baths because she likes to poop in the tub
Mild pinworms, only found one ova on her last fecal slide, too small a concentration to feel the need to give Panache, planning to recheck in three months
She's 17 inches and 365 grams

My question is: Does anybody have suggestions for how to nudge her OUT of brumation?

My worry is that she's still very young and growing. I am not fond of the idea of her brumating because she still has protein and calcium needs. She did eat two supers yesterday but not greens, so I know she came out of her hide at least once. However, she was always in it and sleeping otherwise.

The day before yesterday I spent the whole day taking her from her hide and placing her to bask.

Hi there...how big is she ? It's always good to include the size in any health question since their sizes vary greatly at any age. If she's a pretty big and healthy girl, just let her do what she wants. She knows what her body needs and she may just go through a phase of smaller meals and off + on sleeping for a bit, then come out to a " normal" life. No real need to worry.

She's 17 inches and 365 grams. I supposed my primary concern is that I understood that brumation during the first year was unusual. I just disliked the idea of her losing these still prime growing months, especially in terms of calcium absorption.

Simon is only 10 months old and I think just hit brumation. He went from sleeping throughout the day to just sleeping. He hasn't woken up really since yesterday. He is 21" long and is 588g and is very healthy. My vet told me that their actual age may be different than their internal age so it is possible they'd be going into brumation. I had fecal sample done and blood work to make sure everything was good. Thankfully I got to his coccidia issues before he started brumating because he was acting like he was going into for the whole month of September.

I guess I'll just let her sleep. Ugh! I'll miss her during naptime. My older (1 year and 11 months old) isn't showing any inclination to brumate!! That was part of my worry as well.

Obviously, there's nothing physically wrong with Faranth. Brumation it is.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
