My 7 month old beardie Daisy has not eaten in a week. She is healthy and has not lost weight. Her color is the same no signs of stress. I moved her into a new tank 2 weeks ago. She used to be a hardy eater. She eats a little greens in the morning but turns her head to feeders for dinner. I tried phoenix worms, dubia roaches and superworms. All my temps are correct and uvb bulb is up to date. She runs around when i let her out. I give her 2 soaks a week and lightly mist her every other day so she can drink... Any reason to get alarmed?

Is she still eating her greens in AM, but no feeders? Or has not eaten anything for one week? When was the last poop?

She eats some. Not a lot. I got her to eat one superworm last night. Her last poop was about 4-5 days ago. I use newspaper on the bottom of my tanks...

I have noticed the decline in feeders with my male, Hugo. He is just over 6 months. But he is still eating the greens. The breeder that I got him from, Rio Reptiles, had a good article about subadults slowing down, and that being normal. If temps are ok, etc., she maybe going through this slow down period. During the last half of their first year, they are suppose to transition over to 20% feeders, and 80% greens. Personally, I would increase her baths to every other day, until you see her really gobbling down the greens. That way she is staying hydrated. :D

Cool Thanks.. I just purchased a baby leatherback from Rio. I thought that was the case. She used to be such a eater, its funny seeing her not eating now. But she is very healthy and strong. Ill defiantly increase her baths. She love the water!! Thanks!!

After reading this I feel so much better about my little guy. He is around 7-8 months old (had him since he was around 2 months old) and had to go a round of antibiotics and panacur in May and that really messed with his poor little belly and then he had to go another round of antibiotics again in June to finish out his treatment and so I wasn't sure if the meds really messed him up or if he was getting to the point of slowing down on feeders. He used to be such a piggy with his superworms but now is either not interested or will eat one or 2 per day. He will take a few bites of greens and munch on them here and there throughout the day but just doesn't have the appetite that he used to. All the temps are the same as they have always been and his UV Bulb is only about a month old. I had fecals done so now I know he is worm/parasite free now. Maybe he is getting to the point of his metabolism slowing down. He is very bright eyed and healthy looking and is pretty active so I am hoping I am just being a worrywort. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
