6 month old beardie is skittish randomly

Hay guys
Ive had my beardie for about a month and a half now and has been fine until around 2 weeks ago after he shed hes skin hes been frightened when i go to touch him or pick him up he runs up the wall run to the other side of the enclosure and i dont know what happened. And its been 2 days now and he hasnt eaten but poos daily and walks arounf normally ect and when he opens hes mouth (gaping) theres like a popping sound when he does it, and hes nose looks blocked :s
im so paranoid

Hes enclosure is 4ft by 2 by 2 hes cold side is around 25 and hot side around 40 he has a uvb tube 10.0 which i bought recently tile for the floor

Any ideas guys ?

New skin is acturally sensitive. Have you ever had a sunburn? After you peel feel the skin- its gonna hurt. He may have a hard time breathing cuz think- hiccups is your air ways clogged. He's gasping for air which = the hiccup. As for the blocked nostrils- your best bet is to gently go in with tweezers and lightly pull the dead skin.
Glad to hear he's better
