55g inside dimensions

today at lowes i got some self adhesive vinyl tiles and a piece of plastic that usually covers a ceiling light(no idea what its called). my plan is to stick the vinyl tiles to a piece of the plastic cut to fit the bottom of my 55g tank. the tank is currently full of fish and water so i cant exactly measure the inside dimensions so i was wondering if anyone knew measurements i could work off of so i can get started making the flooring. i plan to do it in 2 seperate halves to allow for easier removal for cleaning. i made a similar thing for the 20 gallon that the beardie is in temporarily except i used a piece of cardboard to stick the vinyl...i know the cardboard will eventually soak up feces so i will eventually throw it out once the dragon has outgrown the tank. any other input on my ideas appreciated, thank you!

p.s i need the exact measurements to work off, so guesses wont really help but thanks again!

You can cut vinyl with a razor, just buy a little extra. I have a 55 gal in the garage ill measure after work if none else gets it though.

ya, im more worried about the plastic pieces being exact because they will probably be hard to make small adjustments to. i dont know, im just assuming.
