Actually, the best thing you can do for a dragon of that age is quit feeding it crickets altogether. They're just too small for the dragon and, when you're looking at that many crickets going into a dragon's tummy, you have to consider the amount of chitinous shell, which is mostly indigestible, going into your baby.
What you should do for your wallet, your sanity, and your dragon's feeding pleasure is buy some TROPICAL ROACHES.
I know, I know, they're a roach. Yuck, right?
But consider this:
They can't infest your home.
They don't reproduce all that well at less than 82 degrees.
Dubias aren't very fast so if you drop one, you can catch it.
Unlike the dreaded common cockrach, they can't survive just eating anything (like wallpaper paste, animal dander, etc.). They eat pretty much what we do, especially fruit, so if your house is clean, they couldn't survive due to lack of food.
They don't stink.
There's way more meat per roach as a percent of body weight (less chitin) than a cricket.
Your dragon will eat far fewer roaches because roaches are bigger. I have concluded based on personal experience (I used to breed crix and had 5000+ on hand at any given time) that roaches are more cost-effective.
They don't make noise.

They are both excellent roach breeders, can pack them to survive Chicago and Michigan winter weather, and are scrupulously honest. You can see how many dragons I have in my tagline. I've sent them both several hundred dollars before and I always get exactly what I've ordered and then some.
I hate insects personally and especially hate roaches. I bred crickets for a year before I finally tried a roach. But I will NEVER look back.
There are several other good feeders, particularly hornworms, phoenix worms and silkworms, but they are more expensive than roaches. I give them as a treat now and again, but roaches are the basis of my feeding program.
Give them a try. Well, not personally
If you can build up the nerve, you'll be happier in the long run.
And no, I don't get a thing for recommending Marcus or Ian. I'm just a satisfied customer.
