I've had my three year old, 18 inch beardie for 5 days now, and she's peed for me, but hasn't gone poo yet, i gave her a bath yesterday, she didnt go in there either. Wondering, should I give her another warmer bath and massage her tummy? Or is something like this totally normal? I'm used to kitties, and well, they go everyday, so irregular poos just gets my mind running... :/

I know when my dragon goes i celebrate lol. Hes gone around 12 times in the last year.

WOW! that, makes me feel better, knowing there are more dragons out there that don't go all the time. haha, it's so nerve-wracking, knowing the impaction risks and all. :/

Dont get me wrong its definately not healthy. As long as hes not on any loose substrate i wouldnt worry about impaction too much. How is your dragons eating lately? Did you just get your dragon 5 days ago?

OKay good, switching to tile will be a wise decision. Are you dusting the crickets? Carpet makes a great substrate aswell. You could go half tile/carpet. Thats what i used for a while. Im using carpet and felt right now.

Yeah definitely warmer, it makes it nice and soft too. I just found a light colored mat from Rona (home depot) for like 5$ then just simply cut it too size. I picked a colour that resembles sand, if you have a dragon that poops lots it might be a good idea to get a darker one. Im lucky in about a year hes only gone on the carpet like once or twice. You can get scotch guarded carpet that makes clean-up easy. Or you can purchase it ina bottle and apply yourself, the poop will just wipe up.
The fecal sample i brought in came back negative for parasites.
How is your dragon doing?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
