4mo beardie only poos while soaking...

hello all, i just wondering if its unusual that my beardie has been holding it till he is soaking? i thought that since he was young he was going to have to go often? but he at least for the last several days been holding it until he is in the tub or sink... after about a min he will just let it go then i drain the water rinse the sink out and he will soak for like 5 more min...

It isn't odd that a dragon goes during bath time at all. You will find as your dragon gets older it will have a particular place it prefers to go to the bathroom at. My baby already has his place picked out and he is near 2 months old. You should feel lucky it is in the bath where getting rid of it is easy. :wink:

yeah its yucky... i have to get some gloves so i can pull the plug...

during his after pooping soak he relaxes so much he gets all orange and closes at least one eye... when i take him out he gives me a dirty looks

Yup, Nesoberu used to get daily morning baths so that he could have a poop.

if we didn't give him a bath he would hold it until we did.

BlueBelle mainly poops in her bath...she is 4 months too
BUT yeah i will DEF find poops in her viv floor too, luckily its tile so its a one two three clean. Unless she decides to go on her limb or her plants ... then, not so easy.
The warm water stimulates a poop for them. Its awesome she is going only in the bath!!!!!
SO MUCH EASIER to just...drain away. She's potty-trained! :mrgreen:

Phred likes to poop in his bath too.. One time I didn't give him a bath for 2 days, and he went in his viv.. he then proceeded to smear it over every inch of the tile.. like , "take that".. He however did end up hiding in the corner until I cleaned it.. :lol:

Chief will usually wait until I take him out to play, so he can poop on something he shouldn't be pooping on.
