48"Lx24"Wx18"H lighting needed

We recently got our first beardie and are waiting for our new enclosure to arrive. It will be 48"Lx24"Wx18"H. We were thinking of going with the Reptisun T5 HO 10.0. Should we use the 34" or 46" to almost equal the length of the enclosure?Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

I say go 34 so that you can fit it in just fine. Wouldn't want to order it only to find out it wouldn't fit.

I'd go with the 34 at most. The 22 would work as well. You'll want to provide high UVB levels over the basking area but you'll also want a gradient down to shade levels on the cool side of the tank. This is more easily achieved by using a bulb about 1/2 the length of the tank. The T5 will still produce plenty of UVB over the basking area if it's mounted about 12-14'' above the highest basking area. Your dragon will move around and self regulate when given choices.
