Hello Melissa,

Maybe it was just not completely gone previously perhaps which caused a relapse. Poor girl, I was hoping that was it & she was past it.
Let us know how she is doing. Keep trying with her, she has great fighting spirit!

Hey dear I sent you new blood work and an xray via email. It isn't looking good. They have her on an inject able called Zosyn and oral baytril and some booster stuff. they said her lungs have no lining and it is just whited out They said if she isn't doing any better in a week we will have to think about putting her down. I am so sad. I don't get this whole dehydration thing, her Total Protein is so off. I syringe feed her greens daily and bath her every few days, how this is even possible is just beyond my imagination, they thought maybe organ failure, nope, then did the xray and seen the lungs. Praying its not cancer. any advise? I'm so worn out, this has been going on and off since May now.

I gave her the injection of zosyn and she starting throwing up for the rest of the night making horrific noises. She finally passed out sleeping. Her tail and beard are now black I don't know if I should give the meds time to work since today is only day 2 before making any decisions. I just wish she had some pain meds if she is in pain. I am just so distraught. Sad

Thanks, I did receive it. I will take a look at it & email you back.
I am sorry she is just not doing well & is back on medications, again. I haven't taken a good look at the x-rays, but did notice the lung volume was reduced. Did they think it could be pneumonia?
Did she get sick from the medication though, what was her dose?

Be sure to keep her warm overnight. I hope she is feeling better soon.
