I'm posting again about poor Hodor. Here's my previous post: https://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=206874
The update is that we finished 5 weeks of parasite medication for him on Saturday. He was on Panacur (0.24ml of 100mg/ml) orally once a day for 5 days, skip 3 weeks, then continue for another 5 days. AND he was on Metronidazole (0.08ml of 250mg/ml) once daily for 7 days, skip a week, again once daily for 7 days, skip a week, then again once daily for 7 days.
Due to the timing of his two medication regimes, the first and last week of treatment the two meds overlapped, which meant last week he had a 7 days of Metronidazole and 5 days of Panacur. I'm SURE his stomach isn't happy. I've been regularly giving him Benebac, but ran out last week and have some on order (arriving tomorrow).
Prior to going to the vets, and prior to getting put on anti-parasite medication, he was pooping every 2 days reliably. Then he was pooping every 4 days for the first few weeks of treatment. Then he slowed to every 7 days, and now it's been 12 days since he last poop. He's getting daily warm baths, outdoor sunshine for 30mins on warm days, and he's been fed small amounts of applesauce or babyfood peas with olive oil every couple of days. I've upped his terrarium temps to low 80's at night to support him.
He's always been very excited about bugs (superworms and dubias) but he refused bugs today.
He basks most of the day, holds himself up, moves around his terrarium just fine. He's alert and he's held steady weighing around 500-512 grams over the last several weeks.
Any ideas on more I can do, besides taking him in to the vet again? If he refuses bugs again tomorrow, I'm thinking of mixing some carnivore care and babyfood to supplement. If he gets weak, won't bask, vomits, or gets a black beard, I'll take him in to the vet urgently. Just looking for some advice.
