Hi yeah suppers should not be given to babies. They can cause impaction and your beardie has a kink in their system. You should wait till he is at least 16 inches. He's a cutie.
Big supers for big dragons. Little supers for little dragons. Mealworms cause impaction, not supers of the appropriate size.

Direct quote from the beardeddragon company (Last part highlighted by me):
Extra Small Superworms are a great way to add variety to your juvie bearded dragons diet. The extra small sizes range from 1/2" to about 1" in length and are super skinny, only 1mm or 2mm in width. Extra Small superworms can be fed to juvenile dragons when done so in moderation, starting with only 3 or 4 per day for the first two weeks, increasing gradually if well tolerated. Over feeding superworms may cause a dragon to throw up if they are not used to them and pig out, if this happens, wait 2 or 3 days before feeding any more supers, then try again.
For small juvies from 2 to 4 months, superworms for a staple is not recommended, it is better to limit their intake and offer as a variety feeder so that their nutritional needs are better met .
Highlighted section referring to proper supplementation as a requirement, as super worms are high in phosphorus.

- Super Worms of the appropriate size, with a variety of other feeders, with proper supplementation are not a threat.
