2014 Bearded Dragon Calendar images needed!!!

A couple quick questions...my apologies for being SO last minute. Seems the momma bears around here have convinced me to submit photos for the calendar

As far as ANY editing including cropping...you will take care of that? I understand no photo hosting sites and using landscape, distance, best quality, and sending as jpg attachments. Just clarifying that YOU would prefer to handle the rest. You just want the 2 best of our beardies and the rest is all you?

Yes. I would prefer to handle any editing needed.

I do Photography as a hobby, so I'm used to photo post production, retouching and editing. And for the calendars, I prefer it, as it gives me a bit more "original quality". When people shoot pictures in JPG in the camera (which the VAST majority do), and adjustments, including basic white balance shifts, can cause loss of detail/data. So, keeping it as much of the original gives me the most to work with to retain the quality.

Alex, are confirmation emails always sent? I'm asking because I received them for Loki's pictures but not for Angie's.

They're sent when I glance at the email and file it away into my folder for later review. Your additional ones should have gotten their confirmation email a moment ago.

Just wondering if I should get an automatic response to the email I sent with my pictures? Every other year I have gotten one to say you received them, but this year I didn't. I just want to make sure they made it through. Thanks!

You should have gotten one this morning, when I pulled it into my sorting folder. I did receive your email for Drake.

Just popping in as I didn't get a confirmation for Iroh, did you get them? They were pretty big files...now I'm worried!

Yes. Pictures received. I guess something was wrong with the thing that sends the confirmation email. But I do seem to be getting all the emails.

I will start working on the layout soon. When I post the previews, everyone will have a chance to identify mistakes in names or if anyone is missing. Of course, it's best for me to have it all up front, as missing ones likely don't get a shot at full page positions, but in past years, I've generally gotten all the emails that were sent.

So, keep your eyes pealed for the global announcement post (like this one) about the previews being ready to review!

Thank you all for the great pictures. I can't wait to start looking through each and every one!
