2012 Bearded Dragon Calendar images needed!!!

Wow... surprisingly, I haven't had a huge number of submissions yet! But then again, they often do come in droves at the last minute. The good thing, it's easy to make either one, two, or three different calendars based on how many images we get in total.

I have seen some great stuff... I'm looking forward to seeing what else comes in. Remember, it's not necessary to have a fancy camera. The point isn't stunning pictures (although we do often get then), but instead to have some fun calendars with all our beardies in there (with names)! So, please get those images sent in!

I'm still deciding which pictures to submit! I have so many, it's hard to only pick two.
I have a number of my light-box pics of Dud that I love, and I also have one of him licking my had that I think is adorable, but his tongue is a little blurry LOL so I'm not 100% sure on that one.

Can Dudley count as two beardies? He's definitely got enough extra chub to make a twin. :wink:

Be sure to look at the previews of past calendars to get a sense for what I tend to like for the larger images. Hands in pictures are usually a turn-off for larger shots, unless it's a particularly well composed one. Of course, a full-page pic is not always the goal... but the more well composed and stunning shots we get, the more options I have for the layout.

Hrmmm... Wait a little. Usually a total failure message will occur within 3-4 days. If it fails, try again. If still fails (or gives that warning), lemme know. I may have to try setting up a web page for people to upload images to. That would actually resolve a lot of other problems and maybe even help speed up processing.

Hmm I wonder if I can take a good enough picture to submit. I don't even know how to use my camera I just usually use the auto button and sometimes Macro I know it has other settings but don't know how to make them not take blurry pictures. (doesn't help that I dropped the camera and broke the battery compartment lid )

Rose, it doesn't matter too much about pic quality. Alex still uses all of the images. It's just that you are more likely to get a full page with higher quality pics!

I sent in Rango's and of course when hubby woke up and I asked him what he thought of the picture he was sort meh about it so now I am worried it isn't good lol Oh course I know he would never be able to even get the dragon in the picture :lol:
