2 questions

Ok so I have 2 questions about my baby.
So she eats fine in the morning and at night usually. My lights go on from 7am-9pm and sometimes my beardie is a bit odd let's say.
She is approx 2 months old breeder said and about 8''.

So when I'm home, she stays awake and I feed her @ about 7, leaving a few hours to bask and digest. Occasionally however, I work from 3-11 and cannot do the pm feeding.

The 2 times this has been the case, I asked a parent to feed her @ 7, and both times my parent went to feed her, she has already been tucked away in a hide sleeping.

Does this mean she is simply not hungry or something? I can't understand why she sleeps days I'm not there, and stays awake days that I am there (whether I'm in my room or not, which I'm often not anyways)

May I ask what live feeder you are feeding?

I hate crickets!
Appropriate sized superworms or Dubia roaches remain in my small Pyrex bowls with no chance of escape. My dragons can feed whenever they wish! They do not eat when they are full. I have 5 dragons now! My two new Citrus little guys love dining on baby Dubias from their bowl! It's like shooting fish in a barrel!! I stack a few 4x4 inch slate tiles around the bowl to offer the little guys a step and to keep the heavy little Pyrex bowl from sliding around.
You could have left a bowl with insects in your dragons cage when you were gone later than your normal feeding time but crickets will not work in the bowl remedy I was thinking??
I was buying 4000 crickets at a time early on! Many problems ended and much time became more available the day I rid my routine of the dreaded cricket!!

Superworms and Dubias are both so easy to breed! I will never buy another daily feeder insect again! I do gladly buy occasional live feeder treats for my dragons! I am working on breeding my own hornworms currently.

I wouldn't worry too much about your occasional differences with your dragons feeding!! In the wild, exact feeding times and guaranteed quantities is a dream! In captivity, your few feeding differences are OK as well. Your heart is certainly in the right place!!

Only problem is that I live in canada, and here roaches are illegal. So its either crickets, or pheonix worms until shes bigger... but pheonix worms shipping cost is ridiculous... like 20$ from my own province, and 40$ from another one...

What I do with mine is put her veggies in her bowl and kill some crickets and mix them in there too. Just make sure they are dead as you don't want them running around the viv. This way no one has to worry about it and you are set for the day.
