2 beardies - need help

At the pet store I was toled that a female and a male could live together, if the cage was big enough.
So i builded a 200cm x 60cm x 80cm cage and then bought a male and a female around 1 year old.
They both eat and poop fine.
But the problem is that the male is constantly bobbing his head at her, and tries to mate. But she’s trying to run away (some times he gets her) and she glass surfes (tries to get out of the cage) all the time.
I read that if I get another female, it could help, because then they can share the male. And the individual female has more peace.

If this isn’t true.. can I put a wall in the middle of the cage to prevent stress/injuries? (There is a uva/uvb lamp in both ends of the cage)

For the most part everything online that I have seen about keeping multiple bearded dragons in one tank is that it is not a good idea, mainly because one can become more dominant than the other and eat all of the food while the other is slowly dying. Not sure how this works with the opposite sex. Just to be completely sure I would separate them because that seems to be what most people do. If you cannot I would just make sure that they both seem to be in good health at all times.

They seems like they are in good health. I handfeed them, so I’m sure that they both get food. I also have 2 heat places to be sure, that both of them can get uva/uvb.

The male is also most after the female when I’m in the room. Maybe he thinks I’m gonna steal her from him? xD

But if it’s going to be worse I will build a wall between them.

It sounds as if the female is highly stressed out, I would highly recommend to get a different tank for the female and not let them near each other, For a female Beardie, being able to constantly see a male who is constantly trying to get to her Stresses them out a crap ton.

I would highly suggest that for the health and sake of the female, Please keep them permanently separated.

Both dragons will be much better and happier if they have their own tanks, Bearded dragons are naturally solitary animals and living in groups and such Really stresses them out having to share their personal territory with another dragon.

In the meantime building a wall that they can't penetrate would suffice for now until you get another tank for the other dragon.

Also, I would recommend to not always take the pet store advice too seriously because a lot of the time they don't really know what they're talking about and can give out false information that they were trained to give out, Please always do your own research.
