2,000 crickets for a STEAL!

so i had my dad order me 1,000 crickets from the petstore, and to their disadvantage they got an order of 2,000. now i have 2,000 crickets that only costed me 25 dollars! WOOO HOOOO! i have them in a 20 gal tank, hopefully i can keep 'em alive long enough. any tips? besides providing food/ thirst quencher.

I get a 1000 locally for $15

new york worms sells them in the summer normally for $28 shipped to your door, any size...

20 gal is pushing it...

I keep 1000 in a 10 gallon...

I use the supplied 12x12 carton which I bend into a horse shoe.

I offer potatoes and chicken feed...put them on opposite ends....

keep the tank as dry and low humidity as possible to keep them alive longest

you want temps of high 70's to low 80's.

that is the best advice if you want them to survive the longest.....

If you want them to grow fast and die off quick, run higher temps...

normal cricket life cycle is 6-8 weeks....so depending on size, they could be very close to end of their life already...
