1st superworm beetle :) *breeding tips*

hey so today I found my first superworm beetle. He was white with a small red stripe going down him this morning, now he is fully red. He will turn black eventually.

first, i separated 30 superworms invidually into plastic, see through cups. Actual cups meant for like parties or w.e, and in about 2 weeks they turned to pupae ( they never moved at all when they were pupae's, u may think theyre dead, but if they have a tan color that means they are alive.), in a while you will notice they get a bit of color on their legs, this is fine, they are turning into beetles. and a while later they will turn to beetles.

Me too... and I am completely scared to death of the beetles . Have no idea on how I am going to keep Dubia's ....

no problem. I will post pics, just my camera sucks and wont focus properly. But ya, pretty much overnight they turn into beetles. IT is wierd how the pupae can magically turn into a beetle but hey, if they are gonna make me some superworms, I wont complain .

i just seperated about 80 beetles and while i was checking the other 400 cups some of them changed right in front of my wife cause i putthe ones that were almost done changing into beetles in a seperate bin and then had to put them into the beetle bin ill take some pics and post if you would like my wife just sweet talked me into buying her a new camera so if want i dont mind posting some pics for you i have them in every stage right now from larva to beetle and everything in between

Do the worms need air holes? Or are they ok "as is" in the containers?
