So here is every one of our reptilian family members, 13 beardies, 1 frilled dragon, 1 water dragon, 2 ball pythons and an iguana.
I have to go do military stuff for a couple weeks so I won't be able to do any more picture updates for a while. Maybe my wife will take some and keep us all updated. I leave early in the morning. I hate mornings. So not a morning person. Anyway enjoy the show. These are all our babies that will be with us for life... except the water dragon who will be with us till we find her a good home. Talk to you all soon. Take care and give all your babies a cricket or five for me..
Yuki, just climbed down from her basking spot to hide in the shade, eye's still a little gunky and she's very weak, 5 min of exercise (like standing or sitting) and she's done.
Jester, guarding the house, making sure nothing cool happens out here that he needs to flip out and jog back and forth about. Norbert actually waved to him from across the room earlier today, odd since Norbert is 3 times Jesters size.
King! Sitting on the basking spot watching Jester waist energy. King knows he's the boss even though he's half Jesters size.
Patience, Karma's daughter and Rush's sister. Most mild mannered baby ever, but don't think she won't stay in the best basking spot. You can see her bad back, it's been curved like that since she was born but has never seemed to cause her any trouble or pain.
Rush... Patience's brother/alter ego and Karma's other baby. Always in a hurry but super loving.
Raven. Hiding and exploring in the bushes as usual, hates being picked up (evil beard).... but loves being held (beard goes away quick)...
Karma, the huge german giant on the right. Cuddliest living creature on the planet and my wifes baby. 2 1/2 years ago my wife got Jaden (the iguana) for me for my birthday. A month later I got Karma for her on her birthday.... see what happens, now suddenly we have 18 hairless children.
Jovia, lower left. Such a sweetheart, always happy, currently using Karma as a basking log (while i'm typing, not in the pic)
UnNamed. We just got him and haven't picked a proper name for him yet. He's lost his tail but not his personality. Always exploring.
UnNamed. Got him with the other short tailed guy. This boy only has 3 feet and a little nub. He's another sweetheart. He either waves with his little nub, or braces on a branch to wave with his hand. He gets around just fine with 3 feet. Hoping and climbing everywhere.
Honey Dew. She got her name from the color of her beard, beautiful dragon. She came with the two unnamed boys. Underweight but loves to eat so that should be quickly rendered. She's currently trying to sleep, I interrupted her for the pic.
NORBERT. Had to capitalize it cus he's so BIG! Bigger than Karma and Karma's huge. Such a jolly fellow. Like the santa claus of beardies. Another of our new family members. He's more like a dog, always begging to come out and play. Spent a couple hours on the porch with me today hanging out with neighbor kids and scaring neighbor adults by running at em (probably just to see if they had a treat)
Twitch. There just isn't the proper words to describe a beardie of his character. The only time this little energetic baby holds still is if he's unconscious. If he's not out cold, he's exercising and exploring and waving and jumping and inspecting and all the while checking his complete surroundings, all with sudden bursts of movement. The only thing he does at a normal speed, is wave. Everything else is lightning quick, thus the name... He's just a baby now but he's going to be great to hang out with when he's older.
Our water dragon. We're not going to keep her but we have to make sure she goes to a good home. We rescued her from Petco, she was semi healthy so we had to get her before Petco, or Petco's advice to a buyer killed her.
Tarigen. My baby. She was spastic as a baby but she's calmed down a lot. She's almost 2 1/2 now, I've had her about 2 years. In the car she likes to sit in the window with the window open and put her head out into the wind and look at herself in the rear view mirror (on a tight leash of course).
Knight. on the bottom. Hiding under the paper in the warm spot.
Fierce. on the top. These are our 2 ball pythons. Beautiful. Not fond of being held but they're both possible het for pied and albino so we're really hoping they make some beautiful babies.
Another pic of Jester and King, with of course, King being dominant and standing on Jester. They looked cute posing like this so I snapped this pic too.
Jaden. Last, but most certainly not least. Our first, and largest baby. Loves to explore (way more than our townhouse is prepared for). Really friendly but so much power she'll scrape up my arms. She's probably about to loose a few inches on her tail though. Our son accidently stepped on her tail and it's starting to turn black. This pic is of her sleeping on the second floor of her basking setup on the back porch. She gets a couple good hours of sun there in the evenings.
Hope you enjoyed our family.
