14inch height for tank good

I ordered 3 of them like that i know they go crazy when they shed ill have rocks they can be on away from the bulb cause im sure the bulb is like a inch and half is it tall enough? The tank is 42L 21W 14H my tanks i have now are 17inch height

Hello,

As long as the basking light is at least 8 inches from him the 17 inch height will be fine. Did you build the platform up from the bottom for him to bask on too? The overall size should be great for him.
How close will the UVB light be from him?
Do you have a picture of your tank set up?
