i just got him yesterday, he ate 8 crickets last nite, this morning he ate 9 and some greens for breakfast, he just ate 8 more crickets and i gave him fresh greens in his tank. i don't want to over feed him, but i don't want to starve him either....he goes bonkers over the crickets! i just bought 5 doz more crickets this afternoon since the pet store is in the next town. think am gonna have to order online and get some shipped, for $1 per 13 and gas prices the pet store is costly!! anyone have good suppliers for crickets? also would like to try him on some mealworms...
thanks in advance for any advice! seems i read a lot of conflicting stuff on the net, and wanna do what is right....

It's good that at 10 months old he is eating like that for you. Most sub adults slow down on their eating right around the 10 month point. I have ordered from www.armstrongcrickets.com and have been very happy with them. Definitely ordering online is much cheaper.

Do you have pictures you can share?

ok thanks i will check them out! he is a little pig lol. i do have some pics i took yesterday when i got him, but i have no clue how to put them on here?????
still waiting for him to calm down and accept me, when i pick him up he does the hissy thing, then when i hold him for a minute and stroke under his chin he chills out. am afraid to let go of my grip of him tho, don't want him to bolt! i had an iguana years and years ago, he was the iguana from hell....ended up getting rid of him. but have heard so much good on dragons, and my friend's roomie has one that is 7 years old, she raised from a hatchling, and she loves him to death. love reading the stories and stuff on here, it's a great board!
the guy told me he was 10 months old, i have no other way of telling.

Be patient and just let him grow accustomed to you, then the bond will form over time! Dragons like to perch so try him on your shoulder?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
