I have got a 150W CHE on a thermostat, that comes on if the temps drop to low over night, which is pretty much every night over winter. You won't need it in summer, in fact the 100W floodlight might be too hot, but I'd plan to get a CHE before next winter.

Progress report. Tonight I baked a log. Luckily we have a large oven, it bearly fit, in fact I had to trim it a little more than I planned. But it fits nicely in the vivarium, which I have finished painting.
