Hi, my 5 1/2 year old beardie, will make an occasional - not all the time - a light "catching her breath" sound - with her mouth closed. Is this considered "normal" or maybe something else? Her set up is a 48x22x28; temps range 100F on warm end and 80F on cool end; has good appetite/poops...

Hi, my beardie is in the process of shedding - it's a first time for me since I've had her. Very quick question... when the shedding reaches the area around/near her ears, does the 'eardrum' shed also? Thanks!

She's a good 18 inches from it - but I thought if she stayed in one position for very long (which she's known to do) she could have gotten burnt...

Thank you for your help! I've ordered a zoo med 5t 24 inch light fixture with a 22 inch UVB tube...I should get it on Friday (I hope)... When I get it, should I place the fixture in the middle of the enclosure or near the back to best help her?

I will try it - what would you recommend for the light fixture - I've seen some that have a hood - would that work better? and also, would I still need to have the basking light and the flood heat light as well?
