I have heard that the Mercury Vapor bulbs are suppose to be good and provide heat and UVB. I also see some people use both. Could I just use a MVB instead of the florescent and still get good UVB exposure? Any recommendations for what wattage I would need for proper UVB exposure? Thank you

Mine does the same thing, he scratches at the glass to come out. Then runs around my office while I work for a while and will often find a darker corner and goes to sleep. I was always guessing the nap was triggered by the change in body temp and darker area.
