Yes it did work out. Thanks! She is a year old and 16 inches long. And I believe she is in brumation. Hopefully not for long. I did get her tested for parasites in june so I know she went into it healthy. Just wasn't expecting her to do this so soon.

I will often give my beardie drops of water on her nose. She will even drink when we bathe her. They get water from their salad too.

Keep an eye on the humidity. A water bowl can raise it too high. Otherwise, you guys look great together. It's awesome that someone who is willing to research and improve his home took him in :)

They probably wouldn't get along if housed together. It could be dangerous. I don't know when the tail part was lost. If it was in the pet store that's what would happen and then some. Many people have more than one beardie in separate enclosures successfully. I just don't know if they put them...

I would have to agree on releasing. It's often illegal to keep native species. You wouldn't want to release after you have the lizard for a while if you are eventually forced to release him/her.

Just keep in mind, things can go really horrible really fast. That cage size is recommended for one beardie so it's really not enough space.

After some work, we got her to eat about 4 a day. It took patience. She is a stubborn little girl. I just need my young roaches to get bigger. Right now my colony has very few in between sized roaches.
