    Need Advice for Temporary Move

I need to relocate my beardie for approximately a 24 hour period as my apartment is being fumigated. His enclosure is rather cumbersome and I would like to avoid moving it, but I don't want to spend a lot on something he'll only be in for a day. What is the smallest size tank that would be...

Need help with enclosure from dresser

I'm trying to build a terrarium out of my dresser. I'm completely new to this and still working out the kinks. I need something to line the floor with. Its 32 x 38 inches. I was looking into ceramic tile but to cover that much space is starting to seem like it might be a bit expensive. Any...

    gravel paper?

I refer to the stuff made for birds. Has anyone ever tried using this as a substrate? Do you think it would be safe? I've been switching out reptile carpet for paper towel when it gets dirty, but he tears up the paper towel in seconds and likes to eat it. I'm looking for a good alternative and...

does anyone know what this is?

If this is posted every where online, why haven't I seen it anywhere? Could you kindly refer me to somewhere I might find this? And I've done an extensive amount of research myself, but with all due respect, you are a stranger on a message board. It would be ignorant of me to assume that you are...

does anyone know what this is?

Since the first response was it could be regurgitated food and then it was yes, its a defense mechanism when I suggested it, its hard to really know if i should trust that this is someone who knows what they are talking about. And knowing or assuming something is a defense mechanism doesn't tell...

does anyone know what this is?

That was kind of a rude response. My concern is not getting it on me, but figuring out what it actually is, since my dragon is essentially eating it. And it sounds like you're just guessing and have no idea what you're talking about. I've been researching this and haven't been able to find...

does anyone know what this is?

Well, if that is the case is it normal for them to regurgitate like all day everyday? Cause I've been noticing this a lot. And the first time I noticed it sort of seemed like it was doing it on purpose. Like a defense mechanism or something?

does anyone know what this is?

I ordered some hornworms for my dragon and he seems to love them, but I'm curious about something: does anyone know what the gross brown liquid they secrete is? I thought it was blood at first until one shot it out of its face at me. It was pretty disgusting.

    dusting worms?

Ok, so i guess my next question would be is it possible to over dust?

    dusting worms?

Should you dust horn worms or silkworms? I have not been because I'm under the impression that they have more calcium in them naturally than crickets and haven't read or seen anything about doing so, but I just wanted to make sure.

    upgrade?

My beardie is approximately 4 months old and 11 inches long head to tail. I was told when I first got him to use a 20 gallon tank because he was so tiny. I'm wondering at what size would it be advisable to upgrade his tank size? He's crazy active and psycho.

No crickets and can't get him to eat anything else

I was giving him Phoenix worms. Those he bites and spits out. I tried giving him wax worms as well. I am aware they are not the greatest but I had them around. Those he doesn't even touch.

No crickets and can't get him to eat anything else

So because of the cold weather nowhere around has crickets and I can't seem to get my beardie to eat anything else. I've tried worms, freeze dried and sun dried foods and this stuff called baby bites that looks like ground beef and smells like red bull, but he doesn't want any of it and i have...

    Baby BD hardly eats :(

Get him tested for parasites. I had the same problem with my bearded dragon and it turned out he had coccidia and pinworms.

humidity? should i trust my vet?

Brandon, my dragon is dead because my vet was a scumbag. But I intend on getting another one because it's too sad to be without. I've looked for this thermometer of which you speak. I've tried Walmart, Walmart online, harbor freight tools. Can't find it. Anywhere. Would a Marina digital...

    afraid my dragon is dying

Thanks again. The people on this forum have really been incredibly helpful and supportive. I'm really upset that a vet with no real knowledge of reptiles or concern for their well being or the fact that their owners might actually care about them is aloud to falsely proclaim them self a...

    afraid my dragon is dying

Thanks for your support. I wish I could post a picture of him, but I don't know how. I plan on getting another one and hopefully it will be healthy and I will have better luck. And not using that vet again. Unfortunately I think he was so sick before I got him that I didn't have much of a...

    afraid my dragon is dying

Unfortunately, he passed shortly before you replied. My vet was a fool and I think might have prescribed too high of a dose for his fragile little body to handle. It saddens me that your can find more support on a free discussion forum than in veterinary care that you over pay for . He was...

    afraid my dragon is dying

So I got my beardie in the beginning of November. I was concerned that he didn't have much of an appetite and was not growing so took him to a vet about a month later. The vet was terrible but I got a fecal exam done was told he had coccidia and was prescribed albon, a 13 day treatment. I've...
