Do beardies slow down as they get bigger? Mine's at around 7-8 months and is still REALLY fast, to the point that im not comfortable letting him out for fear he will get somewhere I can't retrieve him.

I've noticed that most of the pictures posted here of various Vivs tend to be fairly sparse. Is that better for a beardie? Mine seems to have a lot more 'stuff' in it than what I'm seeing...
