Keeping beardie safe while treating cat for fleas?

I wish I could use an oral med! I wouldn't have to worry so much lol, we tried it last year when he had them ( they get awful in our area this time of year) and it really didn't do anything. So topical it is! I'm probably over reacting about it, I just didn't have a beardie in the house last...

    Developing Black Scales

My girl does have some super tiny black tips on her tail scales, and the larger scales down the middle of her back. So it definitely could just be his pigment changing as he grows.

My girl usually has stress marks until she is fully awake and warmed up in the morning, and when she's hungry, as well as when she sheds  I wouldn't worry too much!

Keeping beardie safe while treating cat for fleas?

Just looking for some advice from anyone who has furry babies as well as scaly ones. I discovered my Siamese has some fleas on him, tis the season right? Ugh. Anyways I know the ins and outs of treating for fleas, and I'm aware nearly any flea treatment can be dangerous to have around reptiles...

    Hey All

Welcome to the wonderful world of beardies! As cooper said, so wonderful that you're doing your research ahead of time. Overweight adult

For an adult 30-50 crickets per week is what you should aim for. You can split that up however you like, a few a day, or more every other day. It really comes down to what works for you and your dragon. Keep offering her fresh veggies everyday, no need to worry about her starving, some beardies...

    Queen Meraxes - 05/08/14

Mera is such a happy little lady today, even though she's shedding, I couldn't help but share! Seriously though, its been so long since she last shed I'd forgotten how cranky she gets. The fact that I bath her more often during (everyday instead of every other) makes her even crankier  I'm...

Have you had a chance to read through this thread? https://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=166108 It should help if you haven't, as for the eggs, she most likely isn't done laying this clutch. She might lay a few more throughout the year as well. I'd definitely say a...

    Start handling

Just thought I'd add even when they are comfortable with handling, babies do tend to be more fidgety , and love to run around like little bandits. They calm down much more with age :)

    Dusting Calcium+ D3? Also ReptoLife?

I actually said " I'd also like to point out that even experts who research the subject extensively, do not go as far as to say that ANY given uvb light WILL stimulate adequate vit d3 production." Any, including MVBs. I as well will continue to recommend and use calcium w/d3, even though I use...

    Dusting Calcium+ D3? Also ReptoLife?

Its actually recommended by numerous reputable breeders, as well as exotics vets, to use calcium w/d3 or a multivitamin containing it, unless using an MVB, or otherwise recommended by a qualified professional. I'd also like to point out that even experts who research the subject extensively, do...
