Strange behavior out of my girl the last few days. She's about 14 months old. 17 inches, and 580g. She has proper heating and lighting and substrate, in a 40 breeder. UVB will be 6 months at the end of the month, almost ready to change. She eats mostly greens and supers at the moment. Anyway...

So, Saphira is now over a year old. Eating more veggies, and a bit less protein. She's been spending a lot more time in the cool side of her tank. Her basking spot is about 101-103 during the day. Should I lower the temp to 95 or so? Or is it normal for her to spend more time in the cool area now?

Just curious... Anyone else's dragon refuse to eat greens out of a dish? Saphira will only eat them if I take them out of her dish and put them on the tile next to her dish. I guess I'm just going to remove the dish. After 11 months of this, I guess she's made her statement clear!

I all. Been a little bit since I've posted. Saphira is doing well. She is 9 months old, a little over 17 inches, and 450g. Is this a good size for her at this point? If shes this big at 9 months, I wonder how big she will be fully grown :shock:

Anyone have a clue why she does this? She never actually breaks it off and ingests it. But she definitely gets it in her mouth and keeps chewing on it. I pull it out and teller no. And she won't do it again for the rest of the night. Silly thing.

Just curious. I always wonder just how much calcium Saphira is actually getting. I know people use the liquid for MBD. But does anyone use it regularly?
