    Can this baby be saved?

I haven't tried it in in his tank for awhile. I was afraid that the large space was the issue. I noticed he won't eat the baby food outside his tank so maybe I can try again.

    Can this baby be saved?

It did indeed fall off. The problem now is getting him to show interest in feeders. I've been feeding him chicken baby food from a syringe all this time. I put him in a smaller bin with some crickets and he just ignores them

Baby dragon born blind, what to do?RIP Trooper:((

I'm so sorry you lost little Trooper. I know it's even harder when you don't know what happened. Please try not to beat yourself up. In the wild he would not have survived as long as he did and you did everything you could. You loved him and gave him every possible chance. Thinking of you.

    Few questions about newborns

First off I must apologize if this has been covered in depth before, but after several searches I haven't found exactly what I am looking for. Sezja laid 25 eggs in her first clutch from an unintentional mating with her brother. All but 2 eggs died off, one was stillborn, and I have one live...

Baby dragon born blind, what to do?RIP Trooper:((

Up until last weekend I had a beardie rescue named Ray who was almost completely blind. If I can be of any help just let me know. I was lucky in that he seemed to see some movement but couldn't follow it quickly enough to catch anything...not even supers. I still had to hand feed him with tongs...

    Can this baby be saved?

Thank you so much for easing my mind! I came home from work today and found the piece that had been hanging out on the floor of the tank. His belly is healing up so well that only a tiny mark shows where it was. I am so happy! Now I just have to get the little guy eating in a few days. I did...

    Can this baby be saved?

Thank you! I really hope it is the egg sac. I feel terrible because I took him out too soon, but he was getting the vermiculate all over it. At least in the tank he has clean damp paper towels and a smooth rock. I guess we will just have see what he does. I only put the eggs in the incubator...

    Can this baby be saved?

Thank you! My neighbor works for a vet that sees reptiles so I am going to see what she thinks. He came out of the egg like that...hoping it is just an egg sac that will be absorbed.

    Can this baby be saved?

Is in the middle of his stomach not at his vent. His tummy actually looks like it has a split but there's no bleeding at the site.

    Can this baby be saved?

I posted this on the breeding thread but afterwards thought it would get more views here. Here is my original post: Sezja laid 25 eggs and I was down to two possibly viable in the incubator. One hatched but I see what looks like his stomach coming out of his belly. Do they have any kind of...

    Can this baby be saved?

Sezja laid 25 eggs and I was down to two possibly viable in the incubator. One hatched but I see what looks like his stomach coming out of his belly. Do they have any kind of umilical cord that it could be? I know that sounds stupid, but this is a first hatchling for me so I have no idea what's...

    Infertile egg laying??

I made an incubator using a styrofoam cooler with a lid, water, and a submersible aquarium heater. My snake breeder gave me some vermiculite in a Ziploc container. So far she has laid three. I tried to candle them. One I think I see a vein and the other two I'm unsure of, so I just put them all...

    Infertile egg laying??

Thanks! I have been reading and am going to try to set something up to at least give them a chance. My snake breeder is giving me some vermiculite to use. I stil;l have to candle them to be sure they are fertile. I am not sure when she laid these first two. I only had time to wet down the soil...

    Infertile egg laying??

Well, I was gone all day yesterday on a visit to family and was going to take your advice and make the separate laying box for her today. BUT....when I went to feed Sezja this morning I saw an egg! I ended up finding two, but there may be more buried in the dirt. The thing is, I think they are...

    Infertile egg laying??

Probably about a week or two. I feel badly because I didn't even think of eggs until yesterday. I've never gone thru it before and she only just turned a year old in april. At first she just wanted out all the time. She would always make a beeline for her brother's tank taunt him with her...

    Infertile egg laying??

Thanks for the reply. I do have a tote that I can modify. Do you keep her in there all the time or just during the day? She is still eating but when she tries to poop only a tiny bit comes out. I've been giving her a warm soak every day.

    Infertile egg laying??

I wish I could help. I am going through something similar with Sezja. I have half of her tank loaded with soil and she is digging around, but no eggs yet. I am looking for some ideas of what to expect as far as length of time this goes on before I need to worry. She is going through different...
